A ship in harbour is safe, but that is not what ships are built for-William Gt Shedd.

Selamat datang and Welcome to my blog!

 If you happen to come across this page accidentally that means it is fated that maybe what I have written here might fill in the empty bubbles in your mind. I always believe that everything happens  for a reason. There are many reasons why I am writing in this blog. But the top reason will be I dream to be someone who can give impact to others' lives. Be it small or big, it doesn't matter as long as I have contributed something to others. I chose the title of my blog " The ship that sails" because it has many similarities to my personality and what I aim for. The ship that sails is fulfilling the purpose of building the ship. Ships are built to ferry people from one place to another, to help people arrive at  their destination safely although they have to split the waves, brave the billows and go to unthinkable places. I want to be like THAT ship, the ship that sails.....

         The poem below  more or less explains who I am and what it means by " The ship that sails "

The ship that sails

I'd rather be the ship that sails
and rides the billows wild and free;
Than to be the ship that always fails
to leave its port and go to sea,

I'd rather feel the sting of strife,
where gales are born and tempests roar;
than to settle down to useless life
and rot in dry dock on the shore,

I'd rather fight some mighty wave
with honor and supreme command;
and fill at last a well-earned grave,
than to die in ease upon the sand.

I'd rather drive where sea storms blow,
and be the ship that always failed
to make the ports where it would go,
than to be the ship that never sailed.

Warm regards.
