All's well, ends well! The SPM 2013 result which was announced last Thursday is a reward for all MRSMTGB teachers for their continuous effort to teach the students. Being number one among PKP MRSMs for three consecutive years is actually enough indicator to prove that MRSMTGB has a quality teaching and learning. We may not have IT equipped classrooms or state-of-the-art facilities but with creativity we are able to hold lessons which manage to engage students to learn. Thus, I recommend to any schools which plan to improve their SPM result next year to look into the classrooms and examine what really happen in the classrooms. Principal should try to help teachers by providing them with condusive infrastucture at school and minimize disciplinary cases among students. Teachers' contribution needs to be acknowledged so that they will feel appreciated and professional development for individual teacher ought to be taken care of regardless their number of years service. How can they be creative if they are not updated on new methods of teaching? Teachers can be an asset to a school if proper treatment is given to them. However, teachers can be a liability if any problems related to them are not addressed appropriately.
